THE RAPHAEL PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES
Founded by Leonard Cheshire in 1954,
this friendly group takes frail and disabled people to Lourdes and cares for them.
Friday 22nd to Friday 29th August,
flights from/to Stansted.
Cost £1097 full board including
insurance, single supplement £245.

STELLA MARIS VOLUNTEER SEEKING
Stella Maris (formerly called Apostleship
of the Sea) is seeking one volunteer from this parish please to help with Sea Sunday (which falls on 12/13 July this year) in this parish.
This is the day when the Church comes together to pray for seafarers, fishers and their families, and takes a second collection
to support the work of Stella Maris.
The volunteer will read out the appeal
(which Stella Maris will provide)
at the end of Masses that weekend.

COMMUNITY AFTERNOON TEA
AT RICHARD CHALLONER
Richard Challoner will be hosting a Community Afternoon Tea and Entertainment at the School on Tuesday 24th June, from 2pm to 4pm for local pensioners and the community.
Our Hospitality and Catering students
will be preparing the food, and there
will be entertainment provided
by our Music and Drama students.
If you or anyone you know who would
like to attend this event, please
ask them to complete the Google Form

SECOND COLLECTION THIS SUNDAY
World Communications Day collection:
this collection supports the work of the Catholic Communications Network (CCN),
the media office of the Bishops’
Conference of England and Wales.
The CCN seeks to be of service both to the Church and the world in offering professional channels of communication, and provides support for the Bishops of England and Wales and the wider Church in promoting the Gospel through the media on current issues.
Its office is the focus for media enquiries on national matters, and seeks to develop the public profile of the Church and its teaching.
The CCN provides up-to-date news releases, features and podcasts, information from the Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, and trains spokesmen and women.

Altar Servers Trip to
Westminster Pastoral Centre, £189. For aged 11-15.
We commend this excellent residential
trip for altar servers and those who
regularly attend mass on the weekend.
In an event that has now gone on for
more than 20 years, it is a few days for deepening one’s catholic faith, in a great social atmosphere, including football,
sports and visit to Thorpe Park.

RELIC OF BLESSED CARLO ACUTIS
Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis visiting St George’s Cathedral - 26-29 June.
St George’s Cathedral will be visited
by a relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis.
On Thursday 26 June, an evening
of adoration and veneration of the
relic for young adults is taking place.
On Friday 27 June, Archbishop John
will preside at the 6pm Solemn Mass
of the Sacred Heart, which will
include the veneration of the relic.
On Saturday 28 June, there will be a “morning with Carlo Acutis”, which will include Mass, adoration, rosary and a talk on the relic.
An exhibition will also be on display at the Cathedral from 19 June to 7 July.

will be held at Surbiton parish in
St Raphael’s Church hall.
A day in which married couples can privately explore their relationship more deeply and gain valuable insights into the communication and the call of the Church to the married.

Our Parish is a lively Catholic community situated on the borders of three
Boroughs, Sutton, Kingston, and Epsom & Ewell. It stretches from the A3 in the
north to the A24 in the south and includes Worcester Park, Malden Manor, Old
Malden, Malden Green, and areas of New Malden, Motspur Park and North Cheam.
That area of the Parish in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell is in the Diocese of
Arundel & Brighton but served from St. Matthias.
